Shutter Speed is everything it claims to be and nothing less. the speed of the shutter. the longer a shutter is open before a shutter shuts the more light gets in. as you all very well know, the more light gets in the more darker the shot shall become. obviously, the masterly photographer a la me should observe, absorb, and understand the quality and magnitude of lightedness on or around said subject of photographical interest. if the master of light, me, observes, absorbs, and understands the light and decides said light is low he will set a llloooonnnnnggg Shutter Speed. and be extra-extremely-careful to keep a steady hand, or he will die. (*disclaimer* tripod or steady surface such as ground or table does equally well as extra-extremely-carefulness to keep steady handed.)
one must also keep in mind ah-puh-tchuh A. K. A. Aperture. you see, when an aperture goes lower it lets in less light, so naturally, the Shutter Speed will have to be proportionally longer as is the vysa-versa-likewise. the way the proficient adept light-painter finds out how much he is to adjust Shutter Speedis an extremely precise mathematical formula i'm talkin algebra I. or you could just ballpark gestimate it, which, 60% of the time, works every time.

Very good work, and extremely creative. I am especially thankful for your casting me as racer x, a long time roll model of mine. One correction of note before your final edit... (for this and the previous entry) if you let more light in, the result would be an overly bright final picture.... or what might be what you are considering, a much darker negative. Th only other thing is the use of the word entrail. Entrail means to intertwine, and definitely watch putting an s on the end because this changes the word to mean intestines, or the insides of an animal, all too often exposed in the unfortunate scene of roadkill.
Once again, thank you for your fine editorial!
